Day
trips are geared towards college and high school groups, as well
as individuals interested in learning about dog sledding in depth.
Upon
arrival you will meet our sled dogs in their two acre fenced in
yard. We will interact with them as they exhibit pack order and
family living. We will then load the dogs in the truck and head
for the trail. We will run the dogs until lunch time which is spent
on the trail or back at our wood heated yurt. We will continue our
dog sledding run after lunch until about 2:00-3:00. There is plenty
of hands-on work during the course of the day. Driving dogs is a
team effort and you will come away with the knowledge of how it
all comes together.
