Vermont Dogsledding

What We're About

Vermont Dog Sledding is located in Shoreham, Vermont (in the Champlain Valley). We are a small outfitter that has over 13 years of experience with sled dogs and guiding in Vermont. We focus on quality versus quantity when it comes to running our 3-5 mile rides and 8-12 mile trips. We are educators by nature and look forward to the opportunity to share our knowledge of dog sledding with you.

Our Dogs
We have 11 freight huskies all of various ages. Some are a mix of Greenland husky and Inuit dog, while others are a mix breed freight dog from the Yukon. They are large, strong, friendly and very energetic. They have been carefully selected for their desire to work. We enjoy traveling with them by dogsled in the Green Mountain National Forest and on frozen lakes and fields. We place our emphasis on taking our time and enjoying ourselves rather than covering great distances
.

Off season tours available, call the Middlebury Inn (800-842-4666) in Middlebury Vermont for details!

Vermont Dog Sledding is a member of the regional Addison County Chamber of Commerce.

"Thank you so much for a wonderful time. It was all we could have asked for and more. Much less like an official tour thing and more like going out with a friend."
